Street performers begin annual Shizuoka fete

SHIZUOKA, Japan - An Australian trio called Chrome entertains spectators with a comedy routine in shark costumes as the 10th Daidogei (street art performances) World Cup 2001 gets underway in Shizuoka on Nov. 1, 2001. A record number of 111 street artists and entertainers from 15 countries are taking part in the four-day event.
