Japan mission leaves for Pakistan

TOKYO, Japan - A Japanese government mission leaves Narita airport on Nov. 9, 2001 for Pakistan, where it will explore ways to extend aid to Afghan refugees. The mission will visit Islamabad, Karachi and other places in Pakistan for talks on refugees' requests and safety with Pakistani government officials and representatives of the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees.
