70 mil. yen eco-friendly toilet installed on Mt. Daisen
YONAGO, Japan - Photo shows a shelter equipped with an environmentally friendly toiled atop Mt. Daisen in a national park in Tottori Prefecture, western Japan. The toilet, which cost some 70 million yen, recycles water by using microorganisms to break down waste in an integrated treatment and purification vat. The treated water will be reused after the addition of rainwater.
