Pakistan orders Taliban to close embassy in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - A Taliban spokesman receives questions from reporters at the Taliban embassy in Islamabad Nov. 22 after the Pakistani government ordered it to be shut down. Taliban Ambassador to Islamabad Abdul Salam Zaeef and embassy staffers will be requested to return to Afghanistan within a certain period. Pakistan was the last country to maintain diplomatic ties with the Taliban.
