Sapporo faced with heavy snowfall

SAPPORO, Japan - People in Sapporo, Hokkaido, return to their homes in a heavy snowfall Dec. 10. Some 41 centimeters of snow fell in 24 hours from the afternoon of Dec. 9, the record so far this season.
