Ogata declines to comment on foreign minister's post
TOKYO, Japan - Sadako Ogata, Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's special envoy on Afghan affairs, is asked by Japanese reporters at the U.N. headquarters in New York on Jan. 30 about reports that Koizumi has asked her to be foreign minister to replace Makiko Tanaka. Ogata said she had no comment to make on the matter.
