Mitsubishi Electric develops new wearable display

OSAKA, Japan - A woman wears a new head-mounted liquid crystal display (LCD) unveiled Feb. 6 by Mitsubishi Electric Corp. Unlike goggle-type displays currently available, people can use the new display without blocking their field of vision, Mitsubishi said. The device, called Eye Vision, looks like a phone headset. The small display is attached to the headset and is set about 3 centimeters from the user's right eye. The screen is about 1.5 cm high and 2 cm wide.
