Fujita to merge key division with Mitsui, Sumitomo

TOKYO, Japan - Hiroaki Tamura (R), president of troubled midsize construction contractor Fujita Corp., speaks at a news conference at the Tokyo Stock Exchange in Tokyo on Feb. 15. Tamura announced a plan to merge the company's key construction business division with Mitsui Construction Co. and Sumitomo Construction Co., which earlier agreed to merge operations.
