Germany's Pechstein wins 5,000-m speed skating in Olympics

SALT LAKE CITY, United States - Claudia Pechstein of Germany, who won the 5,000 meters speed staking event at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics on Feb. 23, waves to spectators at the Utah Olympic Oval. Pechstein won her third straight Olympic gold medal in the 5,000 with a world and Olympic record time of 6:46.91.
