Kato rules out resignation

TOKYO, Japan - Former ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) heavyweight Koichi Kato answers media questions at his office in Tokyo's Kasumigaseki on March 29. Kato ruled out the possibility he will quit the legislature in the near future and expressed his intention to address allegations of misuse of political funds.
