Ballot counting starts in E. Timor presidential poll

DILI, East Timor - An official opens a ballot box April 15 in Dili to begin the counting of ballots in East Timor's first presidential election held the previous day. The result between candidates Xanana Gusmao, 55, and Francisco Xavier do Amaral, 64, is expected April 17.
