PUSAN, South Korea - Rescuers examine the debris of the tail of an Air China Boeing 767 on April 16 on a mountainside on the outskirts of the southern city of Pusan, South Korea. The plane with 155 passengers and 11 crew members aboard crashed on April 15 while approaching Pusan's Kimhae airport.

                    HAIKOU, China - U.S. Embassy military attache Brig. Gen. Neal Sealock speaks at a news conference in Haikou, China, on April 6 after meeting with the 24 crew members of a U.S. Navy spy plane who are being held in Hainan following a collision with a Chinese fighter jet over the South China Sea. Sealock said the crew members were in good spirits, adding he conveyed ''best wishes'' from President George W. Bush to the air crew.

                      TOKYO, Japan - Officials of a Japanese pilots' union meet the press at a Tokyo hotel on Feb. 3 regarding the Jan. 31 near-miss incident involving two Japan Airlines (JAL) planes over central Japan. Forty-two passengers and crew members were injured in the near miss between JAL Flight 907, a Boeing 747 bound for Okinawa from Tokyo's Haneda airport, and Flight 958, a DC-10 en route to Narita airport from Pusan in South Korea.
