Coast guard to start investigation of unidentified ship May 1
KAGOSHIMA, Japan - Tadashi Kuroki, head of the guard and rescue department of the No. 10 Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, briefs reporters in Kagoshima on April 29 about the investigation into a suspected North Korean ship that sank in the East China Sea last year after an exchange of fire with coast guard vessels. The coast guard will begin investigations May 1 into whether the ship can be salvaged.
