Koizumi's staff starts work in new office
TOKYO, Japan - Chief Cabinet Secretary Yasuo Fukuda (L) gives his regular media briefing at the new premier's official residence, which formally opened April 30 next to the old house-cum-office. Welcoming tighter security at the new five-story building compared with that in its 73-year-old predecessor, Fukuda said, ''It's a little inconvenient that I can't enter my office without an ID card, but that's what we want.''
