(1)Russia shut out Japanese media at training camp
SHIMIZU, Japan - Russia, Japan's first-round opponents at the World Cup, kept Japanese media off-limits May 26 as they held their first full-fledged training session at their base in Shimizu after arriving in Japan the previous day. Coach Oleg Romantsev, known for his dislike of the media, only allowed Russian reporters and television crews to cover their afternoon practice session.
