Hiroshima remembers Swiss doctor who helped after A-bomb
HIROSHIMA, Japan - A memorial service was held in Hiroshima on June 16 for Marcel Junod, a Swiss doctor who helped rescue operations in the city after the United States dropped an atomic bomb on it in 1945. Children lay flowers at his cenotaph during the service at the Hiroshima Peace Park.
