House passes motion calling for Suzuki resignation

TOKYO, Japan - The House of Representatives in a plenary session June 21 passes a resolution urging disgraced lawmaker Muneo Suzuki to resign. It is unclear whether the nonbinding resolution will push Suzuki, who was arrested June 19 on suspicion of bribery, to quit as lawmaker.
