Walter sees need of weaker yen
TOKYO, Japan - Norbert Walter, chief economist of Deutsche Bank Group, speaks in an interview with Kyodo News on July 2. Walter said the yen should be substantially weakened to 140 to the U.S. dollar to help Japan overcome economic stagnation and deflation as its structural reforms will not help support the economy in the immediate future.
