(2)Afghan vice president shot dead in Kabul

KABUL, Afghanistan - The bullet-ridden car shown was carrying Afghan Vice President and Public Works Minister Haji Abdul Qadir, who was assassinated outside his office in Afghanistan's capital Kabul on July 6. Qadir was ambushed by unknown gunmen around 12:30 p.m. while leaving his ministry. His driver was also killed in the shooting and the gunmen fled in a car.
