Bullet train Hayate unveiled to media

SENDAI, Japan - The bullet train Hayate, which will be introduced on the Tohoku Shinkansen bullet-train line in October, is unveiled to the media in Rifu, Miyagi Prefecture, on July 19. The Hayate will first run between Tokyo and Morioka, the current northern end of the Shinkansen line, from October and then run between Tokyo and Hachinohe from December when the commercial use of the extended portion of the line between Morioka and Hachinohe starts.
