Japan to slap dumping duties on Taiwan, S. Korea fiber
TOKYO, Japan - Members of a government panel sit at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry to discuss polyester staple fiber imports from South Korea and Taiwan. The panel urged the government to impose antidumping duties of up to 13.5% on those imports. The antidumping tariffs will be the first imposed by Japan since August 1995 when it imposed similar levies on cotton yarn from Pakistan.
