Suzuki, new chairman of J-League
TOKYO, Japan - Masaru Suzuki, vice president of the Japan Football Association (JFA, assumed the post of J-League chairman on July 23, taking over from Saburo Kawabuch, who was promoted to JFA president. The 66-year-old Suzuki served as president of L-League first-division side Antlers for eight years from 1994 and was a board member of the J-League.
