Court admits germ warfare waged by Japan
TOKYO, Japan - Chinese victims and relatives of deceased victims of the Imperial Japanese Army's germ warfare in China enter the Tokyo District Court on Aug. 27. The court admitted Japan waged germ warfare during World War II and caused harm to local people, but it dismissed a claim by the plaintiffs against the Japanese government for compensation for the atrocities.
