Thorpe settles for 5 golds

YOKOHAMA, Japan - Australian Ian Thorpe (C) falls short in his bid to capture six gold medals as the United States battered Australia to win the gold medal in the men's 4x100-meter medley relay by setting a new world record in the Pan Pacific swimming championships being held in Yokohama on Aug. 29.
