Fujisawa unveils restructuring plan

OSAKA, Japan - Hatsuo Aoki, president of Fujisawa Pharmaceutical Co., speaks at a news conference in Osaka on Sept. 3 on a set of restructuring measures, including spin-offs and job transfers. Aoki said the restructuring plan is designed to bolster the company's domestic business base, competitiveness and earnings capacity.
