Gov't, Okinawa discuss use of land to be vacated by bases
TOKYO, Japan - Okinawa Gov. Keiichi Inamine is surrounded by reporters at the prime minister's office in Tokyo on Sept. 10 after the first meeting of a conference to discuss how to use land in Okinawa Prefecture that is to be vacated when U.S. military bases including the Marine Corps' Futemma Air Station are relocated.
