Salvage of sunken mystery ship in East China Sea underway
KAGOSHIMA, Japan - The Yoshida Maru No. 60 (L) salvage ship is raising a suspected North Korean ship from a depth of 90 meters in the East China Sea on Sept. 11. The suspicious ship sank about 390 kilometers off Amami-Oshima Island after a shoot-out with Japan Coast Guard ships on Dec. 22.
