U.S. ambassador's wife thanks Japan on Sept. 11 anniversary
TOKYO, Japan - Nancy Kassebaum Baker, wife of U.S. Ambassador to Japan Howard Baker, plants a Japanese maple tree in front of the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo's Minato Ward on Sept. 11 as a token of appreciation for Japanese support following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the United States.
