UNC, N. Korea sign accord on cross-border railway
SEOUL, South Korea - Delegates of the U.S.-led U.N. Command (UNC) and North Korea are in talks at the truce village of Panmunjom on Sept. 12. The two sides signed an agreement later in the day allowing South Korea to proceed with construction work on a cross-border railway line through the demilitarized zone (DMZ) that divides the two Koreas.
