Honda releases new Accord

TOKYO, Japan - Honda Motor Co. President Hiroyuki Yoshino poses beside a new Accord sedan at a news conference in Tokyo on Oct. 10. TOKYO, Japan - Takeo Fukui, president of Honda Motor Co., speaks in an interview with Kyodo News at the company head office in Tokyo on Dec. 25. Honda's new fuel-cell car can run at minus 20 C

TOKYO, Japan - A Honda Motor Co. official shows off a newly developed fuel cell which the company says enables a vehicle to run at temperatures as low as minus 20 C. The automaker said Oct. 10 that a power generator based on the cell can prevent water created in fuel-cell cars as a result of power generation from freezing.

Honda to set up new plant in China with 2 China firms

TOKYO, Japan - Honda Motor Co. President Hiroyuki Yoshino announces at a press conference at the company's head office in Tokyo's Minato Ward on July 10 that Honda will jointly set up a new automobile plant in Guangzhou, China, with two Chinese automakers -- Guangzhou Auto Group Corp. and Dongfeng Motor Corpto -- to produce and export its small cars.
