Itochu subsidiary falsely labeled Taiwan eel as domestic

TOKYO, Japan - Akira Manabe (C), president of Itochu Fresh Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of trading firm Itochu Corp., offers an apology at a news conference in Tokyo on Oct. 10. The company said it has sold 100 tons of eel imported from Taiwan falsely labeled as domestic.
