U.S. backs Japan's efforts on bad loans, deflation
TOKYO, Japan - Japanese (L) and U.S. delegations attend the Japan-U.S. Financial Dialogue at the Finance Ministry in Tokyo on Oct. 21. In the one-day high-level talks, the U.S. side, headed by U.S. Treasury Undersecretary for International Affairs John Taylor, welcomed Japan's efforts to clean up its banking system and combat deflation.
