Group names U.S. Marine col. in Okinawa base noise suit

OKINAWA, Japan - A group of residents living near the U.S. Marine Corps' Futemma Air Station in Ginowan, Okinawa, and supporters demonstrate in front of the Okinawa branch of the Naha District Court on Oct. 29. The group filed a suit later against base commander Col. Richard Lueking and the Japanese government over ''intolerable'' noise from the facility.
