Fujimori marks exile anniversary, wants to return to Peru

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil - Former Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori (file photo) marked the second anniversary of his self-imposed exile in Japan on Nov. 19 with a vow to return to Peru. ''I'm ready to fight a new battle,'' Fujimori said in a statement issued through a spokesman, as he renewed his pledge to travel back to Peru to contest the 2006 presidential election.
