Game software makers Enix, Square agree to merge

TOKYO, Japan - Square Co. President Yoichi Wada (L) and Enix Corp. Chairman Yasuhiro Fukushima (C) and President Keiji Honda (R) hold the game software produced by their companies at a news conference at a Tokyo hotel Nov. 26. The two firms announced they have agreed to merge on April 1, 2003, to bolster their earnings base and development capacity.
