Matsusaka cow sold for record 50 mil. yen

MATSUSAKA, Japan - Yoshitoyo, a three-year-old cow that won this year's top Matsusaka prize, was sold for a record 50 million yen at an auction in Matsusaka, Mie Prefecture, on Nov. 28. Matsusaka-brand beef, known for being tender and juicy, is popular for sukiyaki.
