Kobe's illuminations turned on

KOBE, Japan - Elderly people in wheelchairs enjoy a luminary art display in Kobe which was turned on Dec. 9 on a trial basis. The illuminations were erected in remembrance of the victims of the 1995 killer earthquake that devastated the western port city. The decorations will be lit from Dec. 12 to Christmas Day.
