Taiwan charter flight lands in China for 1st time

SHANGHAI, China - A Boeing 747-400 of Taiwan's China Airlines is welcomed at Shanghai's Pudong International Airport on Jan. 26. The chartered plane became the first authorized civilian flight to enter Chinese airspace or land since Taiwan and communist-ruled China split after the Chinese Civil War.
