Group sues Koizumi over visits to Yasukuni Shrine
OSAKA, Japan - Some bereaved relatives of indigenous Taiwanese speak at a news conference in Osaka on Feb. 17. The relatives are part of a group, comprising 236 people, that filed a damages suit in Osaka the same day against Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, the Japanese government and Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo over Koizumi's visits to the war-related shrine.
