Japan calls new U.N. resolution on Iraq 'desirable'
NEW YORK, United States - Japan's Ambassador to the United Nations Koichi Haraguchi (L) speaks at the U.N. Security Council where non-council member countries aired their position on Iraq in an open debate. He said it is ''desirable'' to adopt a new resolution that shows Iraq has not fully complied with its U.N.-mandated obligations to dismantle weapons of mass destruction.
