Asashoryu occupies west yokozuna slot

OSAKA, Japan - Asashoryu, promoted to sumo's highest rank after capturing two consecutive Emperor's Cups, points to his name at the west side yokozuna slot Feb. 24 in Osaka as the Japan Sumo Association released its rankings for the upcoming Spring Grand Sumo Tournament.
