Koizumi envoy vows to make utmost efforts to disarm Iraq
TOKYO, Japan - Japan's Senior Vice Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi speaks in an interview with Kyodo News in Tokyo on Feb. 28. Motegi, due to leave for Baghdad on March 1 as Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's special envoy, said he will encourage Iraqi leaders during his visit to fully cooperate with U.N. weapons inspections and disarm for the sake of a peaceful resolution of the crisis.
