4,300 evacuated for bomb disposal in Kagoshima
KAGOSHIMA, Japan - Two members of a Ground Self-Defense Force (GSDF) bomb disposal squad watch an unexploded U.S.-made bomb apparently from World War II removed from a place near JR Kagoshima Station in Kagoshima, southern Japan, on March 9. About 4,300 residents were evacuated and trains were stopped for the 90-minute operation.
