Mitsubishi Electric cuts earnings forecast

TOKYO, Japan - Mitsubishi Electric Corp. Executive Director Yukihiro Sato speaks at a news conference in Tokyo on April 1. He said his company has cut its group earnings forecast for the fiscal year, projecting a net loss of 14 billion yen in a sharp reversal from a profit of 25 billion yen estimated in February.
