Toyota launches 2nd-generation Raum compact car

TOKYO, Japan - Toyota Motor Corp. begins on May 12 nationwide sales of its second-generation Raum compact car, revamped for the first time in six years. The new Raum is easy to use for women and elderly people, having a front door and a rear-seat slide door on the passenger side, without a fixed center pillar, to make it easier to get in and out the car, Toyota said.
