Business chiefs call for Japan, U.S., China dialogues
TOKYO, Japan - GE Japan President Mark Norbom (L) shakes hands with Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi (R) after handing him a report urging his government to take the initiative to launch economic dialogues among Japan, the United States and China. Standing between them is Toshiba Corp. Chairman Taizo Nishimuro, who along with Norbom attended a joint economic dialogue meeting between Japan and the United States in Washington, where the report was adopted.
