Kansai airport operator hit hard by effects of SARS
OSAKA, Japan - Few passengers are seen at Kansai International Airport on June 26. The airport operator said in a business report released the same day that passenger arrivals and departures at the airport in May totaled some 807,000, a record monthly low since the 24-hour airport opened in June 1994, due to adverse effects of the SARS epidemic.
