Asashoryu disqualified at Nagoya sumo
NAGOYA, Japan - Grand champion Asashoryu (L) suffers a second loss against nemesis and fellow Mongolian Kyokushuzan at the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament on July 10 as ringside judges decided to disqualify the yokozuna as he had pulled Kyokushuzan down by his topknot (shown in photo). It was the first time in the history of sumo that a grand champion has lost through disqualification.
