Chongryon seeks more flexibility for Mangyongbong port calls
TOKYO, Japan - About 300 members of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), a pro-Pyongyang Korean residents' group in Japan, hold a meeting in Tokyo on Aug. 9. They urged the Japanese government to facilitate a smoother process for the controversial North Korean ferry Mangyongbong-92 to make calls at Niigata port.
