Japanese wins 3rd prize at Leeds piano competition
LEEDS, England - Yuma Osaki from Japan poses for photos after winning third prize at an international piano competition in Leeds, Britain, on Sept. 20. The 22-year-old native of Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture, is the fifth Japanese to win one of the top prizes at the Leeds International Pianoforte Competition, and the first Japanese winner since 1987.
